This seminar will deal with teaching in heterogeneous classrooms, i.e. classrooms in which students have a wide range of previous academic achievement and varying levels of oral and written proficiency in the language of instruction. It will explore various teaching techniques and methods that can be used with heterogeneous learner groups and it will also cover topics, such as lesson planning, how to organize the classroom, and classroom interaction.
