Comment:
Our society is currently undergoing major changes and high demands in terms of health problems and transformations. This seminar will elaborate the interactions and consequences for different social factors and health factors based on examples as well as up-to-date research with the help of analytical and discursive methods. This resarch focus also organizations, such as schools, which have to face those multidimensional social and health challenges in the future.
As a student, this seminar offers you the opportunity to examine both the general and the specific context of health sociology from the theoretical, analytical and possibly empirical point of view. This allows you furthermore to access health/medical knowledge as well as knowledge of application and research approaches in the discipline of Sociology and scientific work.
