This seminar will introduce you to basic aspects connected with academic research. Topics include

- how to find a research question
- how to find and work with literature
- qualitative vs. quantitative research methods in linguistics
- data collection
- presenting your results
- referencing

Hands-on activities will give you the opportunity to practice your academic skills.

A list of readings and the course schedule will be announced at the beginning of the term.
