This lecture is based on the basic lecture "Engineering Mechanics III (MuD)"

Aim of the event:
In this course the basic methods for the dynamic design of engineering structures and their application in Mechanical Engineering are discussed. The practical application of the taught methods is shown in special examples, like vibration-analysis of complex technical systems.

Target group:
Students of mechanical engineering and industrial engineering with focus on mechatronics, product development, or students of engineering computer science

- Classification and representation of oscillations
- Modeling
- Discrete systems with one degree of freedom
- Discrete systems with several degrees of freedom
- Continuous systems
- Vibration damping
