Aim of the event:
Students got along with the basics of metal forming and cutting processes. On the basis of the problem of the production task the students are able to choose the correct procedure by making process chain considerations. The main focuses are set on modern and innovative production processes.
Target group:
Students in the basic or advanced study period, who search for a deepen insight in metal cutting processes and who want to make experiences by the design of process chains.
Contents:
Sheet metal forming using fluid media
Incremental forming methods
Electromagnetic forming methods
High speed forming methods (explosive forming)
Fine machining
New developments in cutting technologies
Simulation in cutting technologies
CAE in cutting technologies
