The aim of this course is to prepare you for oral exams. The most specific target group are students who will be taking their oral exams in Fachwissenschaftliche Horizonte/History of English, but all other students are welcome to participate as well.
Participation is voluntarily and you do not get credits or a ‘Schein’ for coming to this class. You will, however, be expected to take part in mock-exams and therefore will have to speak in front of a large group of fellow students.
In the first part of the semester, we will focus on what forms exam questions may come in and possible ways to answer them appropriately. In the last third of the semester, there will be an overall revision of the content of history of English for the students who already attended the lecture in the winter term but will take their oral exam after the summer term.
You do not need to enrol via PAUL. Just come along to the first meeting in the second week of the semester.
