Plastics Materials Technology
Aim of the event:
This course aims to teach students to evaluate plastic materials concerning the area of application, the material type and the material production (as well as the combination of these factors) and to choose appropriate materials during construction based on this information.
Target group:
Students of the fields Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
Contents:
- Basics
- Linear-elastic material behavior
- Elasto-plastic material behavior
- Mechanical equation of state for the plastic percentage of the total deformation
- Specific description during oscillating loads
- Rheological models
