Contents:
Practical use of the Finite Element Program ABAQUS for individual implementation of material models.



1. Learning Basic functions of ABAQUS-CAE by the example of a fixed Beam with linear distributed load, variations of model.


2. Fixed beam with viscoelastic material behaviour. At constant displacement at the free End of the beam: stress components in accordance to time, balance, relaxation


3. Cyclic load for the beam described with viscoplastic material behaviour. Rate dependend load generation. Cyclic stress strain diagrams, characteristic hysteresis curve, different mechanism of hardening


4. Punchtest for characterisation of material properties of soldering metals. Therefor the penetration of a hard body into the examined material is observed. Elasticplastic and visco-plastic Material will be simulated at large deformation.
