Lecture "Computer Integrated Manufacturing" (CIM)
Aim of the event:
The participants have worked on a specific task developing, implementing and optimizing an automated manufacturing- and handling device. They are familiar with the tools of the Digital Factory and its features; they know the manufacturing resources and are able to program and optimize manufacturing- and handling devices.

Content
The following steps will be followed by re-planning and optimizing automated manufacturing- and handling devices:
1. Determine the requirements
2. Analyzing the requirements and modeling the current situation
3. Development of basic concepts for possible solutions
4. Construction of simulation models and analysis of possible solutions
5. Technical and economical evaluation of possible solutions
6. Elaboration of selected solutions
