Aim of the event:
Germany is world champion in export. The mechanical and plant engineering contribute in particular to this achievement and to the good reputation of "made in Germany": Many german companies are world market leaders and "hidden champions" in their industry. The success of german mechanical engineering industry is based on the linkage of several success factors, a.o. innovative products, high quality, reliable processes and a long-term company policy. This course introduces the complete range of proceedings and methods, which are needed for the successful completion of mechanical engineering projects. The students will learn the entire process from business acquisition up to the successful plant operation at the customer. The characteristics of customized solutions are particularly considered thereby. Numerous practical examples illustrate the procedure. The listeners and listener will develop an holistic understanding of the enterprise processes and will learn cross-department thinking and acting.

- Project planning - project proceeding and milestones - performance specification, requirement specification, interface definition - provision (Make or buy, outsourcing, development partners) - integration - start-up (test run, increasing production, production monitoring) - hand-over
- Claim management - handling of project deviations - handling of errors and amendments - legal and economic consequences - successful project hand-over
- After Sales service - classical service elements - new approaches (Total Cost of Ownership, operator models)
- Customer relationship - from the customer to the partner - establishing long-term business relations - Sozio-cultural differences in the international business
