Aim of the event:
Part 1: Fundamentals of Chemical Engineering
Students learn about important areas of process engineering, they should be able to use the basic engineering concepts and understand the most important elementary processes. This knowledge should be applied to understand some exemplary process apparatuses and their functionality. They should also learn to understand the coupling of individual unit operations to form a complete process in a concrete example.

Part 2: Principles of polymer processing
This course covers the entire scope of plastic processing. The emphasis lies on an easy-to-understand conveyance. Special attention is brought to the understanding of material properties and the resulting consequences for processing. The aim of this course is to give the listener a basic understanding of plastics processing, which is the basis for follow-up lectures.
