Fundamentals of Mechanical Process Engineering Unit Operations of Mechanical Process Engineering
Aim of the event:
The project seminar will introduce students to an exemplary, complex task as it is common in industrial practice. During the project the students will approach and work on the solution of the task in a larger group. Particularly, soft skills like an interdisciplinary way of working, communication, project management and self-organisation will be trained. It is aimed that the task will be formulated in close cooperation with an industrial partner on the basis of a real problem. Working on the task students can transfer knowledge acquired in the lectures. However, tha actual problem may comprise aspects well beyond raw facts teached during the courses.
Contents:
The problem will be newly defined each year. In the past topics were e.g. Design of a process engineering pilot plant lab, production of coatings, Design of a bio-gas reactor
