Aim of the event:
This course uses case studies and examples to convey experiences about the applicability and the capabilities of information management in the field of public safety & security. Requirements for information systems are gathered to make use cases visible.

The students gather knowledge which is complementary to other lectures. This knowledge gets more and more important in companies and in industry.

  • Command and control as well as generic tasks of fire brigades
  • Inter- and intraorganisational organisation
  • Operational planning
  • Human resource management
  • Communication techniques and methods
  • Requirements for information systems for public safety and security
  • Existing information systems for public safety and security
  • Categorisation of IT systems
