Aim of the event:
Technical skills: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) und Produktdatenmanagement (PDM) provide capabilities for product design. This lecture convey knowledge about these types of information systems and their application for solving technical problems. Therefore, impact factors and resulting requirements are reflected focusing the effective use of the technology.
Key skills: Understanding of product design processes, Application fields and capabilities of CAD and PDM, Selection and introduction of CAD systems, Re-use of data for Virtual Prototyping
