Requirements and recommendations:
Principles of Mechatronics, Control Engineering
Aim of the event:
Modelling is an essential part in computer-based design of mechatronic systems and in the analysis of the dynamic behaviour by simulation. The lecture imparts methods for deriving physical an dmathematical models for the dynamic behaviour of mechatronic systems, for analysing and simplifying models of high complexity and gives an overview over various applications of models in the field of mechatronics. Several examples - mainly from mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering and automotives - are treated. The participants learn to build models in a systematic manner, to analyse models and to judge the results of modelling.
Target group:
The course is addressed to the students of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, techno mathematics, information science in engineering, physics and informatics.
Contents:
1. Introduction and overview 2. Introduction into state space description 3. Modelling the dynamical system behaviour 4. Methods for model simplification 5. Parameter identification
