Aim of the event:
The computer-aided exercises help students to gain practical experience and support knowledge obtained in the lecture course.

Contents:
• Simulation with a rate-based simulator (e.g. ChemSep 4.0): study of absorption of acetone in water (physical absorption, packed column)
• Simulation with an equilibrium-based simulator: study of distillative separation of a non-ideal ternary mixture acetone-isopropanol-water (distillation, tray column)
