Kommentar: Judentum und Christentum sind heute zwei klar voneinander unterscheidbare Weltreligionen. Das war aber nicht immer so: Das Christentum begann als eine Bewegung innerhalb des Judentums. Die Vorlesung will der Frage nachgehen, warum es zur Trennung kam, und dabei insbesondere die frühchristlichen Diskurse um jüdische Identitätsmarker (z.B. Beschneidung und Speisegebote) beleuchten. Anhand von zentralen Texten wie Röm 9–11 wird auch die Frage zu diskutieren sein, wie das Verhältnis des Christentums zum Judentum heute theologisch sachgemäß verstanden werden kann.
