Kommentar: The course provides an introduction to the philosophy of time and its relation to certain theological debates such as the relationship between God and time as well as Divine providence and omniscience. It covers an overview of the history of the conception of time by Christian and Muslim philosophers as well as an introduction to contemporary debates on the issue. By the end of the semester, students would be able to demonstrate an understanding of the correspondence between the conception of time and theological responses to certain philosophical problems.
