Kommentar:
Im Alltag "wissen" wir in aller Regel sofort, welches Geschlecht unser Gegenüber hat. Es ist ein Mann oder eine Frau, ein Junge oder ein Mädchen. Dieses Wissen ist uns selbstverständlich und wird auch selten hinterfragt. Ebenso gehören zu unserem Alltagswissen Vorstellungen über typische Eigenschaften von Männern und Frauen, die wir für teils angeboren, teils anerzogen halten. Im Seminar werden diese Alltagsvorstellungen aus verschiedenen theoretischen Perspektiven gründlich auf den Prüfstand gestellt.

Das Seminar besteht aus zwei Schwerpunkten: Zum einen müssen die TeilnehmerInnen 5 Veranstaltungen der Ringvorlesung zu "Geschlecht und Kommunikation", Di 16.00-18.00 Uhr, besuchen, die sie selbst auswählen können. Hierzu bitte die Aushänge in der Universität beachten. Zudem findet an zwei Samstagen eine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema in Form von Blockveranstaltungen statt. Die erste Veranstaltung der Ringvorlesung ist verpflichtend: In dieser Veranstaltung werden die Einzelheiten besprochen.

Blockveranstaltung: 21. April von 10.00 – 16.00 Uhr sowie 02.Juni von 10.00-16.00 Uhr
Zusätzlich 5 frei gewählte Veranstaltungen der Ringvorlesung Geschlecht und Kommunikation, Dienstags zwischen 16.00 Uhr und 18.00 Uhr.

Verpflichtend ist die erste Veranstaltung der Ringvorlesung Geschlecht und Kommunikation am Dienstag, den 10. April 2012 um 16.15 Uhr in L2 von Prof. Dr. Britt Marie Schuster – Bitte Aushang beachten.
