It is essential for anyone who has not done this course before to attend the first session.

Kommentar:
The aim of this course is to help students develop strategies for translation from German into English. This involves perception of different encoding conventions of English and German with respect both to syntactic and information structure. It also involves investigation of one's own capabilities across the range of syntax and lexis, since it is on the basis of such capabilities that problem-solving strategies must be developed.
